The Aftermath
The scene: Red Blok HQ on Elysee two weeks after the Mount Elysee disaster.
Commissar Ivan Ionu paced the small interrogation room. Two guards stood at the door watching nervously. A single light bulb lit the scene. In the centre of the room a barely recognisable figure was slumped forward on an old chair. Only the straps restraining it were keeping it from collapsing on the hard, concrete floor. The commissar nodded his head and one of the guards stepped forward and threw a bucket of cold water over the seated victim. Slowly and with much effort the figure stirred.
"I ask you again, colonel, how could it happen?” Ionu barked. "Not only did you fail, you didn’t even try. You are a disgrace to the revolution. There is more to this. You deliberately gave up that container ship to the damn monkeys. Why?” ... Read more »

Red Blok News
Brought to you by the Agitation and Propaganda Subcollective
Your ideologically sound newsreader is Ivonta Legova
"Good evening comrades. In tonight’s programme we bring you the trial of Mikhail Tearemov, accused of spreading anti-collectivist propaganda and rumours detrimental to the common good. Hey, you know what’s going to happen; a fair trial and a fair firing squad. That’s life in collectivist paradise. As long as the rest of us are happy who cares what happens to the neighbours.
"Now over to Elysee where our new militar... Read more »

"Hello comrades, and it’s straight over to Elysium where our military correspondent, Mikhail Tearemov, has the latest. Mikhail....”
"Thanks Ivonta. As the third week of this campaign draws to a close news has just reached us that the Karman "Libra” faction has taken control of the Caves of Doubt. In a bitter, but short, battle they drove out the capitalist UNA. This means that the Karmans now control three of the areas north of the Spaceport. These are Mou... Read more »

EMERALD MOUNTS CAMPAIGN WEEK 3 (cont.)
RED BLOK BLUES
Who’d have thought it? Red Blok fails to take the Observation Post from the Therians. Next time they will face the ONI zombies. Will there be a next time? Watch this space if you can stand the tension. Or you’ve nothing better to do. "It will all end in tears” says a Red Blok spokescomrade.
More exciting still the UNA M.Ind faction was forced back to HQ in a Concorde Square meeting with the Karmans. After the meeting a triumphant Libra faction advances to the Caves of Doubt. There they will meet the Centcom faction of the UNA.

The Emerald Mounts Week 3
Flying Zombies?
Captain Malenkov looked out of the Control Tower window. A scene of devastation and carnage presented itself. His command was being decimated even as he watched. On one side the UNA forces were getting nearer and destroying the bunker piece by piece and would be in a position to assault the tower he was defending. On the other side ONI units were approaching despite the delaying tactics of the Spesnatz Commando unit who had destroyed resources vital to the ONI advance.

Good Morning Comrades
Brought to you by the Agitation and Propaganda Subcollective
Your ideologically sound newsreader on this bright collectivist morning is Ivonta Legova:
Good morning comrades, a very good day to you. Coming up in today’s carefully vetted and highly censored programme:
On the galactic front, ONI has entered into an alliance with the Therians. We can only speculate on what this means for the future.

The Emerald Mounts Campaign
Prelude
The Red Fields Campaign ground to a halt. The Red Blok command resigned itself to the loss of the Mine and the Spaceport. The Therians seemed satisfied with their successes. The UNA might resume their offensive but, for now, bided their time. Things were quiet.
The combatants turned their joint attention to a new theatre of conflict. This time, though, it would be tougher for them all. They were now joined by two newcomers to the conflict, The Karmans and Okamura Non-aligned Industries. Both were preceded by rumours and conjecture as to their capabilities. Only time and battle would reveal the truth of the rumours.

The True Followers of Vhaeraun
As time past, Gorlab could see that General Gul was acting more and more suspiciously since the cleric Brun had asked what task Vhaeraun had tasked him with …
"Had the general lost favour with the Masked Lord? Had he another task for him?? Time would surely tell”, Gorlab thought on, "I will ask for guidance from the wise cleric and send Sue with a note, asking for him and his devout follower Goll to hear of my worries.” Then calling for Sue, and giving her a note … "Fly quickly and quietly lest you be detected. ONLY Brun Casta may see the note … go now my little dragon!”
Gorlab looked over the Wolfsbanes side, watching for a sign from the Retribution of movement. Brun and Goll soon appeared on deck, and quickly made their way over, with the look of worry on their faces. The cleric Brun Casta spoke first …
"Goll has informed me that the General has changed his loyalties to the beastmens god of war”, then cursing under his breath, "all our hopes lie in the hand of a traitor! Speak Goll and let Captain Gorlab know what has passed!”
As Goll told of the generals play... Read more »

Nowhere to Run, Nowhere to Hide.
The rebels were again camped out in the wilds waiting to return to the search for the Blood Banner. They had acquired another ship, albeit a decrepit one much in need of a lick of paint, but, to all appearances, things were going well. Appearances, however, have a nasty habit of being deceptive.
That morning over breakfast, each Drow had reported a dream in which they had been visited by Vhaeraun and instructed to make a magic item. They agreed a time to meet and carry out the enchantment. The only one who kept silent was General Gul. "What was your dream, General?” asked Brun. Gul kept his head down and pretended not to hear. "Gul?!” Brun called him again.

Suspicions, Deceptions and Clues
The two crews were taking a well earned rest sunning themselves in leafy glade and enjoying a reflective spliff. They watched as the goblin slaves hurried about the ships doing all the little tasks that had been missed during their recent adventuring. Mainly it meant checking that Pigsy hadn’t eaten anything vital to the running of either vessel or that Sue hadn’t left a half eaten furry animal decomposing under someone’s bunk. They each drifted off into a weed induced reverie of their own.
The peaceful ambience was dispelled by the sudden arrival of Brun Casta who had been away sorting library books in Tradetown. He stormed into the camp shouting:
