TURN 8:

Campi of Bachelu Division is forced to get another unit to attack Pack. Kellerman of Pire’s fails to charge! Wathiez’z remaining lancers are stuck leaving themselves open to enfilade fire from the foot artillery of Vinke. Husson’s units south of Quatre Bras only get 1 move and since lose 25% due to the fields cannot attack the town (you need an extra 3” to be able to occupy, they only had 7.5” only enough to get to the edge). Allowing the Highlanders to fire at close range with 2D6.

Husson’s / Campi attack stalls. Foy’s attack with Tissot and Jamin falters. A Leger unit attacks the light infantry of Brunswick and fails, and breaks (2 VPs).

The end of the French move. Campi’s unit to support against Pack’s attack manage to Disorder and hit the artillery – which is now shaken.

Pack destroys the unit of Campi (2 VPs) it has been in melee with since the last turn, and the supporting unit also breaks (2 VPs). The other unit is shot at by Vinke has to take a break test and has to retire. Campi is now broken and cannot be recovered. Brunswick prepares for Pire’s cavalry attack as best they can on the East! But Vinke has 1 broken and 2 Shaken Disordered units so is broken and must retire 1 move.

What is left of Kempt and Bylandt (not in towns) form square. One of Alten’s brigades of KGL move up to Quatre Bras.

The right flank Brunswick and Alten’s other KGL do more damage to J. Bonaparte, Baudin loses a unit (2 VPs).
