TURN2:

French move. The infantry in mixed order attack column, the artillery held back to try and oust out the Jagers.
Pire arrives and heads off on the French right flank, J. Bonaparte arrives moving to the woods on the left flank.

From French perspective. Showing the CinC and Divisional General flags (still to be placed with figures) but will allow them to be found more easily later on in the battle. The orders dice are also clearly seen, basic grey with the battalions, grey with red splatter on the Divisional / CinC dice. Also each battalion has a unit information tag showing what unit it is, under which Brigade / Divisional General staff rating, and stats and skills. Here the French have managed to get a disorder on the Jagers in Gemioncourt, who in turn have caused a casualty on a battalion with traversing fire.

Turn 2 Allies move, Van Merlin makes haste!

French artillery sets up to remove the Jagers. The black dice showing the traversing shot on a battalion of Tissot from the Jagers. Tissot’s units have RUN to get into position and for us means they cannot shoot.

Picton gets Vinke to go to left flank, Pack in the middle, Kempt to take the right flank.

View from the East – Vinke in the foreground.

The end of turn 2. J. Bonaparte has arrived. |
