The French do the final push to remove the Allied cavalry on the East. Husson’s line that have been in the woods take the opportunity to attack Pack in the flank (see top right of picture).

Pire is victorious. Kellerman destroys Brunswick Uhlans (2.5 VPs). It tries a sweeping attack on Van Merlin as he has rallied the Light Dragoons they get a draw and push Kellerman back. The Chasseurs of Huber with the Lancers of Wathiez destroy Van Merlins Hussars (2 VPs), then do a sweeping charge and destroy a unit of Vinke (2 VPs).

Pack’s unit attacked in the flank is victorious and turns to face, the other unit loses and retires disordered.

Vinke’s last 2 units form square, while the artillery continues to retire back. The French attack on the southern sector of Quatre Bras is successful destroying Pack’s small Highlanders (1.5 VPs).

A great 2 days Napoleonic gaming at the ACVC club near Ibrox in Glasgow, good company with both sides having enjoyed a really close game. We were required to stop here as we ran out of time but here was to be another 2 turns. What could have happened? |
