Amazing detail in the model, so def buy two!

Could be used as objectives or general "explosive" terrain pieces in a load of games ... RPG or wargames ... nice find!

Looking at the model makers, I'd bought a load of their stuff before ...

>>> http://www.northayrshirewargamesclub.co.uk/forum/5-276-1

... and can vouch for the detailing being superb, takes paints well and overall looks good on any SciFi table... yeah, get two! wink

I'm not convinced. Looks a bit odd, but then it is Sci Fi.

Yeah it looks like a large weird air conditioner and I suppose it is a variation on this.

For an objective / center piece I could see it being used. At around £12 with p&p I would not say it is a bargain, but the club could afford this.

I am planning to get us more tea / coffee mugs for this Sunday.

Should get some mugs with the club name on them.

In regards to the terrain piece, who makes it as I have seen it before on a companies site along with barrels etc but can not remember the companies name to check the site (price comparison to ebay etc).

It is a very nice little piece of terrain and reasonably detailed, but it is rather pricey for what it is.

Also I would say it would be best used just as terrain or a relic rather than a objective. Objectives need marked only by a simple counter really such as a painted poker chip

Quick update......

as there were no nay-sayers, and the item can be used for quite a few games played at the club...

Warmachine / Gang Wars / WH40K / AT-43 / Necromunda (not seen for a long time this one tongue ).....

The club is going to buy one Atmosphere Processor for the terrain cupboard.

Yeah it is - but the wife gave a heck of a todo list.

I'm just finishing the Mantic zombies and ghouls, then 36 dwarves, 14 genestealers, a small mountain of flintloque.

All to do by next Wed when I go back, my son though stays off untill the 20th!! So the South get it better than the North - hmm time for a revolution. Now where did that idea in history come from?
biggrin

UPDATE:
Hmm now back to work, 36 Dwarves done, half way through the genestealers.

Now Zellak - have you finished the Atmospheric Processor yet? tongue

Got it built and base coated.

If i can tear myself away from scripting my AT-43 game this Sunday then i will have a bash at weathering and highlights.

Cant promise anything though...... got a lot to work out. cool

It has arrived and looks good - well doen zellak, put it in the 40K drawer rather than on the shelf - less likely to fall off and smash!!
