Maranos Campaign #2.1.1
Red Blok Headquarters on Maranos (again!)
General Tukachevski was still a troubled man. Contact with troops on the surface of Maranos had been restored and he read the report coming in from the Cog front. The battle had resumed but no one on the ground was aware that there had been any interruption. The revolution was not doing quite as well against the Cogs. Things had started out well with both sides grabbing the nearest objectives. Shots were exchanged without major loss on either side. The Dotch Yaga had prevented any Cog movement on the left flank. In fact it mortared an enemy unit, but only succeeded in grounding the Cogs rather than inflicting casualties. The right flank was livelier with each side losing a unit. A Red Blok Krasnye RPG group was overwhelmed by a Cog stealth unit. The Cogs could not be seen until they were too close. In return

Maranos Campaign #2.1 Red Blok Headquarters on MaranosGeneral Tukachevski was a troubled man. He had just finished briefing the commanders of the two heavy companies he was sending to attack the Cogs and the Karmans. The problem he had was that they were both Odin-01 and Manon-02. Curse those scientists at Gencol; the copies were indistinguishable from the real thing. He couldn’t stop worrying that he had sent the two companies to the wrong fronts. Perhaps it would all turn out well. On the other hand… The other hand didn’t bear thinking about so he put it to the back of his mind.

The Maranos Conflict
The Battle Ground – AT-92
Maranos Spaceport nestles amid the hills of Maranos’ only major land mass in a large bowl like depression. Over the decades of its existence it has expanded to fill the depression and facilities have been constructed within the surrounding hills.
The six warring armies surrounded the Spaceport like a pack of hungry wolves stalking their prey. The only difference being, there would be no sharing of the spoils. Each HQ was a small but growing city, newly built with facilities for landing cargo and troops. Storage containers littered the landscape waiting to be converted into living quarters or operations rooms, whatever the armies needed. There wasn’t a great deal of difference between them, other than the beings that inhabited them.

Extract from Cog planning meeting prior to attack on Maranos
A-VOLUTION – As usual C-NAPS is the voice of reason. This planet is perfectly suited to all our needs. Speaking for our Line, the factories can be easily adapted to our production methods. Even if the native workforce is unwilling to cooperate, our own technicians are more than capable of taking over.

The Maranos Conflict #1.3
The Beginning
Extract from ONI Marketing Report:
Conditions on Maranos are perfect for ONI trade. Citizens have considerable disposable income and few consumer goods on which to spend it. Maranos has resources that ONI need and that can be traded for goods that will benefit the population. Moreover the factories on the planet are modern and can be easily adapted to ONI specifications. The workforce is skilled and
