Think Morgoth gets a tad confused

Not having played GW for ages, and with the rules currently under revamp, it's no wonder I'm all wacko out!

Not having played GW for ages, and with the rules currently under revamp,


The actual game rules have not changed.

Each fighter gets two actions when activated.

an action can be ; move 6" / shoot / search / climb a ladder / fight melee / stand up (if knocked down by blast)

two actions ; use Medic skill / Overwatch.

Shooting...... close range 8" (3 white dice) / medium range 24" (2 white dice) / long range, over 24" ( 1 white die)

Beat the armour to inflict damage.

Cover = +1 armour.

We didn't play overwatch in the last game as there were to many combatants.

This idea is dead in the water...
Mainly due to the fact we still dont have a system for working out the actual campaign details. wacko

Combat Styles
6 Tactical ; Can do whatever the player wants.
5 Drive By ; must be 2 or acts like a tactical. Drive bys come in 2 or more, 1 is the driver, the other(s) shooters. Gain a vehicle.
4 Sniper ; Pick a structure, climb it, and shoot down from there.
3 Flanker ; Enters the table from a flank edge instead of gangs entry edge.
2 Buddy ; Teams up with another Ganger, activates at the same time, uses the same Combat style as him/her for rest of game.
1 Psycho ; Must use 1 of His/Her activations every turn to move closer to the enemy until within 8" range.

Gangster Traits ( 5 cards each )
High Power Ammo ; extra white die shooting
Kung Fu ; reroll 1 melee die
Stealth ; +1 armour in cover
Decker ; Inspect 1d3 shiny counters
Grapnel ; climb buildings on any face, not just at the ladders.
Survivor ; Roll at end of game, escape death if roll a 4+ (1d6) if killed.
Swift ; 9" move
Medic ; Double action to heal 1 point of damage per turn.
Nails ; Reroll Kool tests
Hardwired ; +1 Action
Sub-Dermal Armour ; +1 Armour
Smartgun ; one extra Red shooting die
Cyberspur ; one extra Red melee die
Cybereyes ; +1 Kool

Grenade ; 1 per game. scatter die and template , 2 Red dice. 8" range. (3 cards)
Machine gun ; Roll Reds instead of White dice. ( 1 card )
SniperScope ; 2 White dice shooting at over 24". ( 1 card )

a ganger can also have any number of bane cards, ie....No balls / No show / Traitor / Addict / Burnout.

Banes ( 5 cards each)
Burnout ; roll 4+ on 1d6 each activation or freeze for the turn.
No Balls ; roll under Kool when within 8" of an enemy, fall back double move if fail.
No Show ; Roll 1d6 at start of game, ganger does not show up on a 1-3.
Traitor ; Roll 1d6, Ganger changes sides on a 2+. ( He / She stays with that Gang until killed, then return card to original Deck.)
Addict ; Roll every turn.

6 Sobers up, ok for rest of fight.
5 Psycho this turn.
4 Stagger 1d6" in random direction.
3 Shoot in random direction.
2 Throw up, miss a turn.
1 Keel over, out for rest of the fight.
