I would say 15mm for the tournie. Quicker setup and play.

Sorry zellak I know that is not what you wanted to hear.
sad

I'd like to use my 28mm Orcs & Goblins for the upcoming campaign.

I don't have a 15mm army of any sort, except Naps, so don't really have a choice. Anyone interested in selling one, PM me! ... Thanks, Walts

Only Rory and Philson have still to give their opinion on the preferred scale for the tournie.

???????????????????????

It seems a foregone conclusion.....but its only right to let everyone say their piece. smile

so don't really have a choice

So you could use 15mm naps (infantry = missile block with rifle / dragoons = knights / guns = guns tongue )

Hi,

Sorry for not posting sooner but I will not be playing in the Kow tournament. Good luck with it though.

Cheers anyway CRUSAD3R ! happy

So thats Ross, Kieran, Mark, Gerry and Banksi for 15mm.

Me and Walts for 28mm, and Philson still to post.

So 15mm it is then.

I will be using my Undead army. ( I have a 15mm Goblin/Orc army that someone can borrow.)

Kieran is going to build an army.

Gerry has Romans.

Banksi has Undead.

Ross, Philson and Mark still to decide.

Question ?

Would 1500 points be better as it would mean the armies would be smaller and we should each get three games played in a day ?

(BTW Philson would prefer 28mm to 15mm, but its a moot point as we are outvoted 5 : 3)

Me and Philson (and maybe Ross) are getting in some 15mm practice games next Sunday (16th Sept).

If you are playing with 15mm, the 1750 still left loads of space. You could go to 2000 points easily and still play quite quickly.

Its only getting the rules and knowing your army that takes a bit of time.

Hi Guys ... I'll need to pull out of this campaign, soz.

I'm chasing my tail with to much to do in the house and with all the other games I want to play on Sundays I get to the club ... Che's RPG, Warhammer Fantasy, 40K, Warmachine, Mordheim, LoTr ... I can't see where I could get time for any campaigns.

If I was to be totally honest, I want to get on with painting the bulk of my Warhammer Fantasy - Orcs & Goblins army. It's the first thing I've painted in a loooonnnnggg time and I'm having fun learning the basics again.

Look forward to next years campaigns! War On Warmongers!!

A one day tourny? Didn't get that ... unsure

... but can see why u need 8 players now ... two knockout games to get to
the finals ... yeah, I'd be OK for a one day tourny! biggrin

Just need to get a hold of a 15mm army now for some play testing, when
I get a chance to get into the club
wink ... Walts

With Philson trying out the humans noticed a mistake in the Ogre shooters lists - now fixed.

If you spot any others let me know.

Soooooo ... players & armies?

Is everyone still play-testing what armies their going to be playing?

What about actual 15mm models?

I'd like to get a game of KoW on the 30th, so could I ask someone to bring in a 15mm army that I can use for a bit of play-testing? ... Walts

Hi Philson .... Had a quick nosy at the KoW forums and came across this link with loads of useful stuff ...

>>> http://forum.manticblog.com/showthr....d-rules

... Here's the link to the Kingdoms of Men (human) forces ...

>>> http://www.manticgames.com/SiteDat....ans.pdf

... Best to have it checked against a hardback (full) rulebook to make sure it's OK, or check against the Xls that Ross made up? ... Walts
