Hi everyone. I'm playing around with a few ideas for a modern magic role playing game based on Shadowrun but not using those rules. Basically it's a bit of 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer', 'Charmed', 'Blade' and a few ideas pinched from films, novels and anything going through my brain at the time. It will be set in Gibsonville and will, hopefully, complement Hugh's Gang Wars game - maybe they'll overlap sometimes  Not sure when it'll start but if you're interested in playing watch this space. I was thinking along the lines of a loose alliance of Awakened PCs and their mundane friends fighting off the Forces of Evil. Gibsonville is a node for magical activity and attracts a lot of weird people and things.

Hi Waltz,
If you wanted a figure that was 28mm and looked great then head over to ebay and search for a Dr Strange heroclix figure that you could get already painted etc. There are loads of them out there and it would save you time and money.

have a few of ideas for characters.
1) A Japanese swordmaster .....magic abilities :
lay on hands (healing like mr. Miyagi...karaate kid)
Kinetic forcefield (to stop bullets)
Super Leap ( like Jedi)
2) a japanese hacker with magic abilties in the net.
3) a goth/rasta voodoo zombie-master.

If it's alright with you chaps I'd like to put a bit of RPG colour into the cyberpunk game on Sunday. The fight would ideally be set in the Industrial Estate but that's not set in stone.
