Thanks to Stephen L (LordoftheDie) for my first game of Pathfinder RPG!

Once we got our characters sorted and onto paper ...

Iain M ... aka: "Castus Wolf" | Elf Ranger
Craig McC ... aka: "‘Krag" | Dwarf Fighter
Aidan ... aka: "Squee the River Goblin" | Goblin Rogue
Waltz ... aka: "Norrin Radd" | Human Paladin ... Blog Link!

... our intrepid band of adventurers started their first quest in the city of Sharn! How shall it all end? unsure

Hilarity's with the Paladin slipping into a water fountain, the Ranger getting an arrow in the butt and the DM jinxing the dice ... Pathfinders looking like a winner for me! biggrin

More Blogs to follow ... Walts

PS: I'm sure he's looking for more players, so drop him a PM!

Always fancied playing a warforged wizard.......

Which looks a good fit with the party ???

What system did you use for creating characters ?............ roll 4d6 and discard the lowest number ?

DEMON : " When next we meet, i shall tear you limb from limb...there will be no escape. "

Hero: " You bring balloon animals and i'll hire a clown..... we can make it a regular party. "

Interestinggggggggg ... A Warforged Wizard, now that's a powerhouse we could use!

We could also do with a Cleric, but I might multiclass that at a later date if we struggle during harder adventures.

Yes, we did roll 4d6 and discard the lowest. This is where choosing RACE & CLASS help give extra bonuses, e.g. The Goblin got +4 Dex, but lost –2 Str and –2 Cha!

Here's a link to Pathfinders open licence rules ... http://www.d20pfsrd.com/

And another for the same, via the publishers ... http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/

Nice, easy access to cross ref everything!!! ... Walts

Already got the Pathfinder site bookmarked.

Been trolling through it since Stephen came into the club....looking at the character options. cool

Wow....Pathfinder has a LOT of rules !!!!

Eberron is an amazing campaign.....Airships / Trains / Cyberware surprised !!!!!

And the place where Warforged were first introduced.... wink

DEMON : " When next we meet, i shall tear you limb from limb...there will be no escape. "

Hero: " You bring balloon animals and i'll hire a clown..... we can make it a regular party. "

Yeah, the new Pathfinder and D&D RPG games have a shedload of rules to cover, but once you've chosen a Race & Class, got that down on a bit of paper, you only have to focus on what your guy can do. Stephens pretty clued up and all about having a fun game rather than being rules-heavy, so we're progressing nicely! biggrin

Stephen sent me a PRPG Character generator link ...

>>> http://www.pathguy.com/PathfinderCore.htm

... and using that gave me an idea on what my (Human) Paladin needed as a 1st level. As we progress, then there's tons of space to develop that character with all the Skills, Spells & Feats I like, and with all the online refs, it's easy to follow ... and pretty colourful! I'm liking it a lot!! cool
