Mmmm ... wouldn't be worth our while to tweak the maps to make some "extra" access zones? I could dabble on the images if Da' Umpire wanted too go along this path? ... Walts

Was hoping that somebody would offer to do that. Nice One!!!

hi

there's a map building facility in the open r-community tools but i have never got it to work but i'm sure a software wizard like Walter could get it to work and post a tutorial for everone.

I think it also allows you to generate missions but i'm not sure about that.

Of course with Pavlov bailing out....

If Aiden joins Walt and the UNA.

Che and me are RB.

Mark and Kieran are Therian.

Then Tom (Oni) and Banksi (Cogs and Karman) could use Karman HQ.

Two players on each side.

@Zellak: Yeah, that would work for me. Aidan's been a powerhouse with the UNA, so it's a win-win for the UNA Squad! biggrin

And Banksi could have one each of his Cogs/Karman factions! cool

Regarding the new campaign and the sector maps: What about doing a combination of the 3 battlefields? ... Red Fields, Black Fort & the Em Mounts, that way we could design a map that still has four access zones max? Having six factions on one sectors a bit much?

The current battlemaps have 6 sectors, so we could increase this to 8 or 9, or even 10, to allow varying access zones and sectors a few of us have never played?

Use the sectors in the battlefields and that way we don't need to play about with all the sector rules? There would be odd tweaks (e.g. K101 gives a drop in the Red Fields, we just say a drop in our campaign, or we could limit where they go?) ... Lots to play with!!!

I'd be happy to create an example during the week for a new battlefield incorporating some other sectors with the usual accss zones they have? ... Walts

Personally, i think 3 battlefronts is to big.

Its better to start a campaign you know has a chance of completion , than one which is so big that it peters out due to loss of people/interest over a long time.

That mistake has been made before at the club.

Hi Z ... Soz, I didn't explain myself very well.

Basically, I think we can create our own campaign from, say, any 9 sectors in the FB Campaign rulebook, stick together with their normal access routes, tweak the sectors if needed, etc, from any of the three battlefields ... to make our own battlefield. We can then say it's a 4 week campaign, etc, ... anything we want!

Some of us haven't played the other two battlefield sectors, so it would be nice to mix it up a bit? ... Hope that makes sense?

For me, the idea of 6 armies running about is a bit much? But, I suppose if we combine armies as u've mentioned, we could just play any one of the battlefields? I'm bored with the Em Mounts, couldn't we play one of the others? ... Walts

Doh, now i get you !

Making up a battlefront using some cyber wizardry ......Hmmmmmm ????? (One to think about ! )

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Yeah, i'm bored with the EM Mounts to.

Way back, me and Che played the black fortress, (me with Therians and him UNA).

But we did a lot of it wrong, and i am sure there were a few things that need sorted.

Could you be a bit more clear...does the capitals mean he is playing Karman ?

@Zellak: I would think so. The English langauge certainly takes a battering in forums, doesn't it! sad

Tom could double up with me if he wants? UNA & ONi? It's feasable ... the ONi are mercs and tag onto the winners all the time! wink ... Walts
