Hi,
I'm interested in coming along, just wondered what i need to do/bring etc. Used to play a lot of d&d when i was younger, 1st/2nd edition mainly, along with a lot of other tsr games, gamma world, space frontiers etc, traveller, toon and a bunch of others. Haven't played for a few years, not sure where my dice are now:-(
Anyway, whats the procedure for joining/coming along?
thanks

Just pop in on Sunday and say Hi. happy

If you look on the Main page , there are no RPGs being played this week, but you can join in something else.

You could arrange to play an RPG later, though thats easier to do if you DM.

I'm running my Drow campaign on the 12th september, you are welcome to join in. biggrin

Hi "Dead One" ... welcome to the North Ayrshire Wargames Club website! I've set ur ref to "Member", so u should have free access to the whole site now.

As Z mentioned, come along to the club on any Sunday, 11am - 5pm, too see what we're all about. The type of RPG & wargames changes constantly, so drop in and ask about, we're a friendly crowd always looking for more gamers. I'm looking to run a (2000AD) Strontium Dog RPG (Traveller) at the end of Sept which u might be interested in, but Z's oD&D Drow Campaign is always open to new players dropping in ... he likes new cannon fodder!

The home page of the website shows what's being played or planned and the other links ... well, have a look and see, their pretty obvious!

All the best! Walts.

Thanks, will try to get along this sunday, anything i need to bring with me, food/drink etc, or is that available nearby?
Myself and a friend used to run a stronty dog inspired campaign years back, although that was based loosely on gamma world, but with the rules pretty much re written to suit. Was fun:-) esp. when we did the gauntlet.
Hopefully see you sunday

Yeah, it is quite a trek, and to be honest i only ended up here cos i couldn't find anyone closer to ayr...
Plus you all seem pretty committed people... which usually makes it more fun.
