Cheers Pavlov. happy

What is "not one step back".....a Soviet advantage ?

"Great Patriotic War" , if i remember right, is a re-roll for morale checks, right ?

Hi

The not one step back is a neck shooting commisar (shoot one man and gain a re-roll all sections within 6 inches) and looks more orky than great patriotic war which is triggered by losing bodies during close combat, they both allow re-rolls.

Yep ....that would work. happy

And pretty sure the Burst Cannon was a HMG , not a MMG.

And Stormbolter is really just a twin linked bolter, so not a HMG.

No mmg is right for burst cannon, I checked, unless you dolls(autocorrect did that so I thought I'd leave it in) feel is should be hmg.

TBH i think it should be a HMG, because it can penetrate light armoured vehicles in WH40K....ie WH40k armour rating 10.

Dark Eldar Raider / IG Sentinel / Eldar Vyper, etc. , etc.....

If we classify it as a MMG then it will be unable to do this in 1940K. surprised

Maybe.....

But according to Pavlov....

Everything must fit exactly into the core rules.

So this may not be as easy as i first thought. wacko

Hi Guys

As you'll know, I have a Tau army that I'd luv to use alongside the Bolt Action rules, so it's great to see things developing.

But, having finally got round to reading Marko's rules, my one question on the BA game in general is that does it have a points system you can breakdown by unit size, weapons, leaders, morale, etc, so situations where your not 100% sure where to fit something, just pay the points to have it higher or lower in stats, e.g. in this situ ...

>>> a burst cannon can be a MMG or a HMG if you pay the points for that weapon type?

... Keep up the good work! ... Walts

I think I will be the same as Pavlov, I will only have a couple of weeks left of my holidays before I'm back to school reading up on my textbooks. It was a nice idea but I don't think it will work IMHO, sorry folks.

Sorry guys, didn't mean to stick my oar in and cause a capsize!

I was hoping you would sort out some playtesting/rules for the 1940k by the 11th and I could use my Tau again? sad

I thought you where focusing on Sunday face-2-face meetings to iron everything out, where I wouldn't be involved as I enjoy playing games on the day? ... Walts

Sorry Guys, I'm out too.

Having looked at my work and home schedule I can barely get a game of Saga, Bolt action or AT-43 fitted in.

So fitting in play testing of a new game just isn't going to work!
