Humanity is at war with the technologically advanced Therians, a presumably robotic species bent on subjugating and transforming all planets for their ultimate purpose: the crafting of a "better", more organized universe under their rule, which they refer to as their "therian heaven".

The Maranos Conflict – Phase #2 Maranos Spaceport Lieutenant Voroshilov gave the order for his unit of Dragonovs to move towards the enemy. They were facing the ONI Corps and they all knew what that meant. All ears were listening for the sound of the zombie guns. As the name implies, they could change your comrades from heroes of the revolution to slobbering, inhuman beasts with one hit. At last they could see their objective. "There, that’s the control tower. Tak

The Maranos Conflict – End of Phase 1
Extract from "The Maranos Conflict – A History” Author: Professor Arkady Strugatski, Head of Historical Studies, Hades University The combatants finished Phase 1 with mixed fortunes. The army with the most successful campaign was the ONI Corps. It ran amok in the south west capturing two sectors one from the UNA and the other from the Therians. It stood poised to attack the Spaceport. The Cogs and the Red Blok both occupied one new sector each. The former captured a Therian territory and the Red Blok successfully a

The Maranos Conflict #2.1.2 Cog Front – Light Gencol SitRep The engines of the Soundounk purred softly. The pilot checked the systems of the APC as the unit of RPG Soldaty boarded, each man’s face showing grim determination. They all knew that, saving a miracle, none of them would survive. None of them had families who would miss them. They had been born in the vats of Gencol and they were surrounded by their brothers and sisters. They served only the collectivist ideal. The revolution needed their sacrifice if it was to halt the Cog

The Equilibrium Files #6"Sit down gentlemen, please.”
The four agents sat and waited for Mr Angellini’s next words. He was their boss at the Equilibrium Foundation and he had called them into his office as soon as they arrived.
"I’ll keep this brief. The incursions we have been experiencing seem to have calmed down of late. As a result you have not had a lot to do and that doesn’t sit well with our corporate benefactors. They have therefore asked that you take on more mundane tasks to justify their continued support.” He leaned forward and spoke into the intercom. "Miss Culpepper, will you show our visitors in, please?”
The door opened and in walked two people. The first, a female, was dressed smartly and carri

Maranos Campaign #2.1.1
Red Blok Headquarters on Maranos (again!)
General Tukachevski was still a troubled man. Contact with troops on the surface of Maranos had been restored and he read the report coming in from the Cog front. The battle had resumed but no one on the ground was aware that there had been any interruption. The revolution was not doing quite as well against the Cogs. Things had started out well with both sides grabbing the nearest objectives. Shots were exchanged without major loss on either side. The Dotch Yaga had prevented any Cog movement on the left flank. In fact it mortared an enemy unit, but only succeeded in grounding the Cogs rather than inflicting casualties. The right flank was livelier with each side losing a unit. A Red Blok Krasnye RPG group was overwhelmed by a Cog stealth unit. The Cogs could not be seen until they were too close. In return
